Oregon Unemployment Numbers Sparks Interesting in Oregon unclaimed money

Oregon’s March unemployment numbers are in and the state continues to lose jobs at an unprecedented rate. As of March, Oregon unemployment stands at 12.1 percent which is the highest since 1982. Many economist expect the state to continue to lose jobs in the coming months as the economy continues to suffer.

This is bad news for the people in Oregon as the Oregon unemployment now stands as the worse in the country only trailing Michigan. Perhaps its time for Oregon residents to start searching the state’s website for Oregon unclaimed funds. Most states have millions in unclaimed money and I’m sure there are a lot of people in Oregon who could use a few extra dollars right now. Unclaimed money is a result of forgotten bank accounts or lost stock certificates as well as mis-placeed inheritance. Almost all sites have a website dedicated to keeping track of unclaimed money for the state. These state unclaimed funds are there for the finding if you can prove they belong to you.

The Oregon Department of Employment released these numbers last week and they show a continued increase in the number of Oregon residents filing for unemployment benefits.
